On 26th October 2021, the President of the Fondazione E. Amaldi, Maria Cristina Falvella, and the President of Women in Aerospace Europe (WIA-E), Luisella Giulicchi signed a collaboration agreement during the 72nd International Astronautical Congress – IAC, held from 25th to 29th of October 2021 in Dubai.
Women in Aerospace main objective is to foster and promote the interests of women in technical areas and in the space sector. The agreement is part of the Fondazione E. Amaldi’s mission in fostering the contribution of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM academic disciplines) and their impact for the space innovation processes and on the society.
